Sam and Dad at the M's Game

On Sunday, August 30th, Sam and Dad went to the Mariners game against Kansas City, which was dominated by Royals ace Zack Grienke, who pitched to two batters over the minimum, allowing one hit, and retiring the final 22 batters he faced. Quick game. But not too quick that we didn't have a good time. It was the first 9-inning game Sam has made it through and afterwards Sam picked out a baseball from the gift shop so he could pitch.

Sam prepares for the game by chewing a hot dog.

Pop up! Sam was ready all game to catch a foul ball. None came. :(

Whuh-oh, in the 6th, someone got restless and started to play.

Sam's good friend Evan was also in attendance, and they played in the aisle until the mean usher came by and told Sam to sit down in his seat so he didn't get hurt.
