The Pac NW Storm
You've probably heard already today that a massive storm has dumped lots of rain on the Pacific Northwest, pretty much including Western Washington down to Portland. Yeah, the rain has been excessive, but the wind has been unreal. Guests up to 60mph in my neighborhood (and 100mph elsewhere) have downed a lot of trees, which in turn have downed powerlines.
This morning there are about 1,000,000 residences without power, and of course our house is one of them. The power had gone out for a second or two four or five times last night, then at about 2am went out, and hasn't come back, yet. How do I know it happened at 2am? Because I wasn't sleeping. That wind is freaking me out.
Weather is insane.
I'm at the main office today because my jobsite doesn't have power. The sun is finally coming up, and I need to figure out what I'm going to do. Hopefully I'll go home and sleep.
